MR PENG-FEI CHANG B.Eng (Bioengineering)

COFOUNDER – DIRECTOR

Peng-Fei graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering, major in Bioengineering from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. In 2010, his breakthrough innovation in the nurturing of medicinal herbs under controlled-environment was realized in Singapore. This discovery led to the scale-up development for achieving the most potent Cordyceps known in the market with compliance to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) of Singapore’s safety Standards. The medicinal herb is well-known for its high-value and medicinal potency for over two thousand years.

He went further to successfully developed an Analytical and Quality Control Systems to optimize and quantify the consistency of existing active ingredients from the batches of raw medicinal herbs cultured at LINK (THM) SCIENCES growing facilities. In 2015, he becomes a qualified Member of the Asia Regulatory Professional Association (ARPA).

Whilst reading for his Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, he was one of the three undergraduates selected to undergo the prestigious Summer Internship at Sales & Marketing division of Janssen – a pharmaceutical company of Johnson & Johnson (J&J).

At Nanyang Technological University, Peng-Fei had the opportunity to join the Bioengineered & Applied Nanomaterials Laboratory to undertake drug delivery project pertaining to the investigation of ‘Surface Activity of E2 Protein Nanocages at Liquid-Liquid Interface’.

In 2010, he established a successful ‘start-up’ to supply herbal medicine to the health supplement industry and retailers in Singapore. The following year, he was able to formulate and obtain the necessary approval from the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) of Singapore for the first High Active Ingredient Certified-Organic Cordyceps health supplement product in Singapore.

Together with his two founding Directors Dr Patrick H.M. Loh and Mr Kenny Tan, Peng-Fei’s cumulated experience has laid the foundation for the development of healthcare products at LINK (THM) SCIENCES.
